   Hello everyone,

   I am writing because advertisements have recently started to appear on the website of a small art organization that I am president of, and I am wondering if these advertisements have been inserted by WordPress. The advertisements are showing up in the lower right hand corner of the screen as pop-ups.

   If these are generated by WordPress, is there a way to pay money to disable them? If they are not generated by WordPress, have you encountered them before and know how they got there? I am hoping that we have not been the victim of a third party that installed a virus or adware on our server. You may see our website here: http://radicalartcaucus.org/

   I am also wondering if these were inserted by our host, which is godaddy.com. Does that seem probable to you?

   They are not inserted by WordPress, but may have been inserted by:
   <!-- www.000webhost.com Analytics Code -->

   as they appear within that code block.

   Travis,

   Go Daddy would not insert an ad like this. The only ad that would appear on your site is from free hosting, and in that case a yellow banner would be placed at the top of the page.

   A public whois shows that you're not hosted with Go Daddy, but your nameservers show 000webhost.com. I would talk with them about this.
