   I have installed WordPress via a One-Click install at least twice before.

   I am moving my previous WordPress site to a new host, a grid-cluster type host. So I am at the fork in the road of installing WordPress as a One-Click or to give manual install a try. I will need to ask how to that, when the time comes.

   What are the downside or upside of either method?

   In my experience there is no downside or upside, the result is the same.

   I asked this question because on my new host a number of people asked how to install manually on their grid-server hosting. If there is some trouble in a manual install, why do some people prefer it?
