You mean html tags? You can find lists for the various doctypes on http://www.w3c.org.
The list for XHTML 1.1 is here:
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/doctype.html#s_doctype
Also, <p class=”foo”> isn’t a new tag, it is just a p tag with a CSS class assigned to it.

nah… i can find html tags… what i’m looking for are all the little variations for tags like the paragraph tag example that i gave…
i went the that link for xhtml tags and that site doesn’t explain or give examples of anything…it was just too confusing for someone who is just learning…
thanks
Well, the section in the WP Documents entitled “Template Tags” will cover a lot of ’em.
As for XHTML, this is a good place to start: http://www.w3schools.com/xhtml/

it doesn’t really… thats not what i’m talking about… i was looking for a single page that lists them all, not just the ones that go in wordpress, but things like paragraph tags, link tags, image tags, etc and all of their variations… that link goes to a page where it tells you how to insert certain things within a template page such as category title, dates, time, etc… i’m lookin more for editing type tags…like the original example i gave…
thank you
Oops, you posted too soon.

thats much closer to what i’m lookin for… if anyone comes by a list that shows examples and all that on one page, so it’d be easy for someone who is just learning all this to print off to have handy as an easy lookup source…
thank you
Look at that page – there is a tag list and examples given by clicking on the tag named. Some even have demos you can try out, berry simple, berry easy (good luck finding something simpler 😉

thank you
Hard copy? What’s that? Oh yeah, that sheet of paper you run across when you don’t need it and can’t find when you do.
