And when I said roll-back, I mean roll back the plugin now the WordPress version.

    Hi expfarm,
AAM 2.x is based on the WordPress Capabilities. Each Admin menu has it’s own capability. That is why you can only hide some menus but not restrict access.
You have to know the Menu’s Capability and uncheck if for your User or Role.

We might change this behavior in the next AAM release. Follow us on twitter to know the latest.

For now you can either figure out what capability your adjusted custom user type has or roll back to older version.

Thank you for your feedback. We will try to implement it asap.

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    Vasyl –

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Our firm loves this plugin. It’s been very helpful.

I’m staying with the 1.7.5 version for now. I REALLY like how we can hide certain menu items, and it operates in a very intuitive fashion.

I’ll look for you on Twitter.

    Thanks!
