advance search with parent category and their child

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help on this. I want to have 2 box for search……one for paraent category and another for child Category

What I wanted to do is when a user selects a country (each country would be a seperate parent category) then anoter box shows them child category of that country automatically…….and then they can search in this parent and child category……
