Adsensedeluxe plugin not working

    I can’t get the AdsenseDeluxe plugin by Wayne Walrath working. I have the Connections Reloaded theme, v1.5 by Ajay D’Souza. I installed and activated the plugin, and put in my adsense code under Options > AdsenseDeluxe. But when I put the tag <!-adsense-> in my posts, nothing happens. Does anyone know how to get this thing working?

    And how can I put adsense ads in my sidebar (widgets)? Thanks a bunch to all who reply, & happy holidays.
