Adsense with Theme Traction

Hello,

My blog is http://www.scarbar.net and I am trying to get adsense to work on my website. I am using the Traction theme for WP and also installed Advertising Manager as a plugin. The issue is that I do not think the theme supports the usage of ads (which may be the case). If that is true, is there any way I can get around this and keep the theme because I really like the layout? If not is there a theme anyone could recommend that has a similar visual and functional appeal but with more compatability to adsense? I am not very familiar with HTML or CSS but if there is an easy way to explain some coding changes I can do it. Thank you!
