I just started my wordpress blog: http://www.lategamereviews.com. I've had a couple issues. First, nearly any theme template or plugin I use with adsense generates code that gives me blank spaces for my ads. When I substitute the code Google generates for me, I have more success, but it's a hassle. Is there a reason for this?
Second, and more importantly right now, the ads generated on my home page never have anything to do with my content. If I have the exact same content somewhere else, the ads are relevant. For example, if I have my latest post set as the default home page when you go to http://www.lategamereviews.com, then the ads are for SEO and blogs and such. If you go to that posts' permalink page (different url), the ads are on target. Same content, vastly different ads. This happens no matter what I put as the home page.
The content of the home page ads (SEO, blogs, themes) leads me to believe it is drawing content from somewhere else, but where? And how do I fix this?
I'm pretty new at running my own blog and just trying to get over this hurdle.
Thanks!
