  • This isn’t adsense support.

i am pretty sure allusion would have helped you if he was allowed by google to read the backend on which google adsense run! check with google if they can allow that… you are a consumer, you have rights… fight for them.

what do you mean by ‘displays incorrect’? It shows public service ads not targetted ads? It doesn’t show any ads?
About 2 weeks ago Google had a problem with Adsense and for a day it showed public service ads to everyone. All my targetted ads (on a non blog site) are back except for one php page. So they may still have a glitch. I’ve seen other sites that still have public service ads.
Once you put an ad on a page and visit that page yourself to display(initialize) the ad, Googe’s mediabot should come around within hours to classify that page. You don’t have to wait for the regular crawler.
I had test ads on a WP site and all pages were correctly targetted within hours.

    “read the back-end”?
    “fight for your rights?”
    what do you mean?

lets say… the developers of wordpress dont control or know how adsense crawler works. so they cant help us with how it comprehend a particular blog or site. adsense is generated by computers, there will always be pages which wont get indexed properly and would show wrong ads or simply PSAs.

thanks shush, but don’t hold your breath on google revealing its algoithms :o)
Adwords is till buggy though. Spark might want to try creating a new channel with a new code and using that code on his site. It might ‘re-boot’ the adwords.

Like I said originally, I meant that on /index.php it DID show targeted ads, and on / it did not. Which doesn’t make any sense cause they are the same page – index.php. Didn’t know if it was perhaps because of something with WP.

make a basic index page with the ad code outside of wp and see what happens.

    Same problem here…

http://www.mijnamsterdam.com/ shows bikini string and swimsuit ads?!?!?!
http://www.mijnamsterdam.com/index.php? shows ads targeted towards my content

I was thinking no ads at the main page would make more sense then this bullshit ads.

    :S

Seems it had to do with the indexing of google. After a couple of weeks it was fixed.
