Adsense Explosion
[resolved] AdSense Explosion: Ad's don't appear (30 posts)

    I have verified that my Adsense ads have been approved.

    I tried removing the NextGen image galleries and even disabling NextGen all together. It had no effect. The Ad's still don't show up.

    I Also can say for sure that the Ad Sense java script is not being run. When it gets run my Ad Sense control panel records an "impression". So far it only record impressions when that ads show up ( I did get the to show up once using another plug in ), but it doesn't record any impressions when they do not.

    My blog is here: http://davidbetourney.info/honda_adventures/?p=124

    You can see from the page source that there should be an Ad just above the post and one under the image thumbnails, but they don't show up.

    I'm using:
    Google Chrome
    Word Press 3.6
    NextGen Gallery 2.0.7
    Adsense Explosion 1.0.0

    How do I fix this?

    i have checked your site.
    You have insert a wrong Adsense Publisher ID.
    you must insert 16 digit (only number)

    try this:
    1) Log into your Google AdSense account
    2) Click on “Account Settings“
    3) copy the AdSense for Content code, without PUB- (numbers only).
    4) paste into "Adsense Publisher ID" field into Adsense Explosion
    5) click "Update Options"
    you will see the ad
    6) please rate this plugin 5 stars :-)

    Thank You!

    I'm a complete AdSense newb I'm afraid :-/

    I correct the problem that you mentioned above, but I still don't see any ad's showing up.

    I see places in the AdSense Explosion options to add my AdSense publisher ID, but I can't find a place to insert my Adslot ID#.

    Isn't this needed? When I get the code for my Ad from Google it definitely includes it. How do I put this value into the plugin?

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "ca-pub-9155572265891919";
    /* Test Ad */
    google_ad_slot = "7708208843";
    google_ad_width = 728;
    google_ad_height = 90;
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    The plugin construct those value automatically.
    If you go into:
    http://davidbetourney.info/honda_adventures/
    you can see the ad

    first step OK! ;-)
    you must only wait AdSense some minutes.

    Please rate this plugin 5 stars :-)

    I'm afraid that I'm still having a good bit of trouble getting my Ad's to show up correctly. They do show up on some pages, but not others. They are also not properly being tracked.

    After several days of chasing the issue, the general consensus is that the Ad code is making invalid requests.

    You can see that discussion here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/adsense/z4_9F03v-oI

    Is it possible that you could make a feature where I just paste my ad code into a text box and have it used exactly as is?

    I'd still like to use your plugin to manage the position and # of Ad's per page, but I want to be able to use my own Ad code.

    For now the plugin (and the ad's) are disabled. I don't want to get banned by Google.

    Hi hakachukai.
    You have installed some plugin (maybe cache) that change html.
    follow these steps:
    1) go into wordpress admin -> plugin page -> installed plugin
    2) update adsense explosion plugin to new release
    3) disabled all plugin
    4) active only AdSense Explosion.
    you see html code without minification / optimization

    I can't do that. At a minimum I need to use the Next Gen Gallery plugin. Without that my site doesn't even function! I have a lot of pictures and I need a decent way to show them.

    I can tell you for sure that I am only running two plugin's.

    #1: NextGen Gallery
    #2: AdSense Explosion.

    There is nothing else unless it is somehow hidden in WordPress code. I'm familiar with the plugin UI because I've used it many times.

    I understand.
    test n° 1
    Can you try to disable the other plugin only for 5 minutes?
    test n° 2
    Can you try to change the theme just for 5 minutes?

    i don't understand.
    if you see the html code of this pages:
    http://davidbetourney.info/honda_adventures/?p=164
    http://davidbetourney.info/honda_adventures/?p=86

    the script code are identical!!!
    but in the first does not appear any advertising

    truly bizarre.

    test n° 2
    Can you try to change the theme just for 5 minutes?

    I've disabled NextGen Gallery plugin.

    Ad's show up on every post now ( but the posts aren't worth much without the pics to back them up );

    I don't see any evidence of ad tracking yet, but it may take a while for the statistics to get reported.

    please take look and at my page code and see if the ad code is valid. I still would like to be able to enter my own code and have it simply repeated 3 times per page.

    I understand.
    The problem is into NextGen Gallery plugin (there is a js code minification option)

    Can you try to disable code minification / optimization option?
    It's possible?

    If not possible, you must contact the author of NextGen Gallery plugin

    Thanks again for your help!

    I still really need and would like to have the ability to paste in my own JS for AdSense Explosion to use.

    I'll give you 4 stars for now. I'll give you 5 stars if you add that simple but super useful feature :-)

    Here is the other thread that I started if your interested in following it: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/nextgen-v207-breaks-js-by-minifing-it?replies=1#post-4592525

    Try this:
    1) set default Twenty Twelve theme
    2) insert TEXT WIDGET into Sidebar
    3) into text paste in your own JS

    Do you see the ad?
    I think no, because NextGen Gallery break any js code

    Ok, I did some more research. I was told that if you make your plugin use this WordPress API call to post the JS, that it won't be minifyed:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script

    If your willing to make a small code fix I can test it and see if it fixes the issue.

    Thank you, but that function is used only for js script file
    AdSense is a js script code snippet

    However, the author of "NextGen Gallery plugin" said he fix his bug

    Hi, I currently have Adsense on a hosted site that I have, but want to use Adsense for a WordPress blog. I installed the AdSense Explosion widget and put in my AdSense ID into the appropriate box. I have also requested from Google AdSense an account for my new WordPress Blog.

    They have sent me this message, "In order to complete your request to show ads on your own website, you need to implement the ad code on tinseltownmom.com. Your upgrade request can only be reviewed once your ad code has impressions on that domain. Learn more."

    The problem is I don't believe AdSense Explosion requires that an Ad Code be installed, and I do have white spaces on my site where I believe the Ads will one day appear, but I don't want to go live with these white spaces on my sight. How do I proceed and get the Ads to show up? Thank you.

    1) Go into your adsense account
    2) copy adsense code into memory (CTRL + C)
    3) Go into wordpress dashboard
    4) insert into sidebar a text widget
    5) paste the adsense code (CTRL + V)
    6) wait adsense approved :-)

    Thanks for the feedback. I did that but still only white spaces appear. I'm not sure if it's because my actually website has not gone live yet, because I input the Ad code into my temp site address. Also, I un-installed Adsense explosions and signed up for Google Publisher because it seems more user friendly. Not sure if that was the right call or not.

    Hi Romolo, okay so I uninstalled Google Publisher and put the Ad code into my site, via Adsense Explosion, but I'm still getting blank spaces. See link attached: http://www.vlvtest.com/tirralan/. You will see where I added the Ad code in Text at the bottom of the page. I titled it Google Adsense (blank space is below it). Is it because my actual site is not live yet (the actual web address will be: tinseltownmom.com, but my web designer has been working under the web page above). I only installed it on the generic site and not the live site?? Thoughts?

    I checked the page and it is configured correctly.
    I think you have to wait a few days to allow time to google to check out your site.
