   Hello,

   I did a quick search but couldn't find anything on the topic.

   My problem is that with the new version of WordPress (2.1.2) I can't put adsense ads using the <!--adsense--> code while in visual editor. It just outputs <!-adsense-> as a text line in the post when I put it. That's why I have to add the code in the code editor. Is there a way that I can make it work in the visual editor as it did before ?

   Or it would be even better if it would be possible to make the code appear in every post. Which file do I have to edit ? I know there's a code created by the adsense deluxe author to put in templates/etc.

   That would really speed up my work as I post quite a lot.

   Thanks for any suggestions.

   where do you put your <!--adsense--> in the code editor ? which file ? and which plugin do you use ?

   I don't put it in any file right now.

   I use AdSenseDeluxe or AdSense-Deluxe I don't remember exactly its name.

   The default code to putting your ad assigned by the plug in is <!--adsense-->. You can change it to whatever you like <!--googleadsenseads-->, etc. But I feel that the first one is enough. And so when you put this piece of code in your visual editor it is supposed to trigger the plugin and show ads instead of the line stating "<!--adsense-->". While this worked flawlessly before, it no longer does.

   PS the version of the plugin I use is 0.8 ( I think from 2005) and which is the latest. Also it is in the 2.0.x compatibility list, listed as compatible. So what could be the problem ?

   Or how do I accomplish the task described in my previous post ?

   Try switching to code view. However, I'm not using the rich editor, so ...

   I was having the same problem and even in "code" mode it wouldn't work. I found out that two things were causing my problem:

   1) I was using the "Tiger Style Administration" plugin (disable this if using WP 2.1.x)

   2)When in code mode, I have to put the <!--adsense--> code right up against my text. If I leave a linebreak, it won't work.

   Correct example:
   This is my blog entry, lalala. Here is a <a href="http://mydomain.com">link</a>.<!--adsense-->

   Incorrect example:
   

   This is my blog entry, lalala. Here is a <a href="http://mydomain.com">link</a>.
   <!--adsense-->

   At least that is what worked for me, hopefully you get it working.

   I'm having the same problem and I'm ready to pull my hair out after searching FOREVER for the non-existent answer!

   I'm also on WP 2.1.2. I don't have the Tiger Style plugin and I tried putting the code right up against my text. I've also tried using the text editor and the code editor...all to no avail.

   I haven't posted on this particular blog since March 25, so whatever it was must have happened in the past few weeks because the Adsense in the last post is working fine. (I upgraded wp on April 2nd, so I'm assuming that's probably where the problem started but no clue what the fix is).

   I'm using a modified version of the Simple Grey Lily theme. I don't know if it's an issue with the theme or this version of wp. Please can anyone chime in and help us?

   Using WP 2.1.3, and AdSense-Deluxe, no problems here - but in Dashboard > Users > Your Profile I have the box UN-checked for "Use the visual editor when writing" -- that works for me.

   As far as I know, it's a problem with the visual editor. I've turned it off in both my blogs, and have no problems. I was having that kind of problem before I turned off the visual editor option in my profile.

   I've even used this plugin to add in some other javascript code to the post, not just AdSense ads!
