• Has anyone ever seen/experienced their Google AdSense ads flickering when the theme loads?

    I’m running a theme based based off of LiewCF.com design, and when the pages loads(as can be seen on LiewCF.com as well) the AdSense ads will flicker.

    Is there some way to remove this flicker?

    Also, on my page own home page I have ads appearing for the individual posts. But when you mouse over the Categories/Posts/or any link from the sidebar in general, it causes the AdSense ad to flicker.

    Any ideas?

    Oh, and I forgot to mention this seems to happen primarily with Firefox. That sort of confuses me the most, cause Firefox typically handles CSS/HTML better anyways.

    But either way, have any of you dealt with this and do you have a fix?

    Firefox does have flickering issues with iFrames. Some sites seem more affected than others. I’ve seen other reports here, and googling on “firefof iframe flicker” turns up a lot of hits – there are some suggested fixes, but I don’t recall a single guaranteed method.

    This was so unbelieveably easy. After googling the hack out of this and trying 20 different things, I found the easiest fix by yahooing it.

    All you do is find where in the code it says

    google_ad_height=’60’

    and add 5 to it:

    google_ad_height=’65’

    That’s all!!! Check it out on Navigadget.

    Note: only works with white backgrounds. There seems to be fix for other backgrounds which can be found here.

    Nevermind.. It stopped working now…

    I installed Firefox 1.5. Bug is fixed. No more flickering.
