Ads have disappeared

    I edit a news website and for two years now have been running three ads on my main page.

    Yesterday I revised a different page that has several photos on it — and suddenly the ads have disappeared. Two of the photos (the ones at top and bottom on the revised page) also disappeared.

    I tried deleting the page I revised, but the ads did not come back. Nor can I identify anything I did to cause such a thing to happen.

    I would appreciate any advice on how to correct this problem. Thank you so much for helping.

    Hello,

    Look in your media to make sure those ad images are still around. Re-Upload the images(Ads) if they are not in the media.

    Thanks so much for your help. However I can’t find the ads in my “Media.” Is there someplace else they could have gone? Also, do you have any idea why they would have suddenly disappeared?

    Hello,

    I would recommend re-uploading your ads to the Media. Then, put them all back to where they were before.

    Not sure why it would just disappear but you may have accidentally deleted a few images.

    Just try to re-upload all the images that have disappeared.

    Thanks, I’ll do that. I’m waiting to hear back from the clients to get new copies of the ads.

    May need some help getting them re-loaded? Can I message you then if I have trouble? It’s been a long time since I’ve done that and can’t remember the procedure.

    To re-upload an image to the sidebar,

    Paste this code in the text widget: <img src=""/>

    In the “”, copy the link of your image (ad) and put it into those quotes.

    Thanks again. However I used a different code for the original images —— —— with a jpg code inside the quotes. Does this make a difference?

    The codes — with all the necessary info — are still in my Widgets. But the images are gone from the Media and don’t appear on the page.

    Could they be someplace else in my system?

    Btw, do I have to size the image to fit the sidebar before putting it in the widget?
