Support » Plugin: Ad Injection » Ads blocked by adinjwidget class name

  • Hi,

Thanks for this very useful plugin.

    I’ve one feature request though:

The current “adinjwidget” is simply hidden with a “display: none” by browser plugins like Ad Block Plus…

On the positive side, this means your plugin is quite popular 😉 but could it be possible to make the widget class name optional/changeable?

    Cheers!

We’ve contacted professional web developers about just such a functionality and no one’s been interested in tackling the task! Does that mean a solution would be really complicated to implement?? Maybe the resultant “arms race” isn’t worth the effort???

    Hey, Esmi,

What are the terms & conditions under which a plugin — namely, this one — may be “adopted” or “taken over” for further development by another party??

Looks like this author’s MIA and this wonderful plugin will be abandonware in another few iterations of WordPress core…so how may folks take over a plugin or maybe “fork” it, if possible?
