   I have the following link when I login to /wp-admin:
   Dashboard
   Posts
   Media
   Links
   Pages
   Comments
   Profile
   Tools

   I have not been able to find "Appearance" (let alone "Themes") in order to change my theme. Please help.

   See your blog admin and get a new role (like administrator).
