this is regarding the following: http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Over_SSL

is the information in the link above still correct?

my wordpress is being hosted by a third party company and they upsold me on ssl for security purposes. they updated the site for me. i asked them to force ssl logins and ssl admin access. this was done.

the issue is that when a visitor goes to the site the entire site is ssl for pages and posts that are viewed.

i contacted the hosting company and they informed me that due to wordpress updates, if you use force ssl logins or ssl logins and admin access the entire site is ssl for visitors as well. the only option is to have the entire site ssl or none of the site ssl (you cannot configure the site as referenced in the link above).

is this correct? please provide me a link to documentation if this is not correct.

    thank you!

It is, but you can use WordPress HTTPS to fix it.
