I want to know if is possible in wordpress to give someone adminsitration of a page category under password/ privacy system. This is available on categories too.
For example, I want the Sport Page/ Category to be adminstrated by a friend of mine and this friend to have a password to enter and to modify the page. But the real administrator of the entire site to be Me

An Author can edit posts but not edit others' posts. There are also plugins that allow you to mess with the Roles & Capabilities. Be careful because some of them (like Role Manager) can do things that can't be undone.
