    I am having a problem where the Adminbar / Toolbar is showing on my site to visitors:

    http://www.30dayslater.net/upgrade/

    Shockingly my main site does not have this problem:

    So I am guessing I am doing something stupid but I can't figure out what.

    Any help would be great :)

    Paste the following piece of code into your functions.php file.

    wp_deregister_script('admin-bar');
    wp_deregister_style('admin-bar');
    remove_action('wp_footer','wp_admin_bar_render',1000);

    @t-p can you please post a screen shot of what you see?

    @Shadez I had added the code to allow a multisite however I have not set it up yet, would that affect it?

    @Prasath Pree I added the code and it made it so I can not even see the adminbar when I am logged in. Also it bugs the back end.

    Any more thoughts?

    I did so research into multisite and I think that even thought I have not set it up it is affect this.

    So I then found this:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/show_admin_bar

    I am not sure if this will work for long considering the Adminbar has been replaced by the Toolbar... so yeah I will mark this as resolved

    now why would you want multisite code in your files when you arent using it? you can remove it. nothing shud happen ideally..
    anyways, try placing this code in functions.php otherwise and check:

    if (!current_user_can('edit_posts')):
    show_admin_bar(false);
    endif;

    heres more roles to check on:
