[resolved] Admin users being tracked when specifically excluded (3 posts)

I am having an issue with logged in admin users being tracked.

I currently have "Track all logged in WordPress users :" set to "Yes", I have "Administrators" selected for "User roles to not track :", and "Method to prevent tracking :" set to "Remove".

I have verified that I am not receiving cached pages by clearing all cache in W3TC and clearing by browser cache. I logged in as administrator and found that the tracking code was still being inserted inserted into the page header.

I have found that if "Track all logged in WordPress users :" set to "No" then the tracking code is removed from the page code.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Hi Onerock,

Sorry for the confusion, this is a legacy label issue.

    The settings you want are:
Track all logged in WordPress users: No (ALL being the important word. If you select Yes, it hides it for ALL logged in users)
User roles to not track: Admin
    Method to prevent tracking: Remove

This is will remove on tracking code for only Admins.

    Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. That seems to be working. Keep up the good work here.
