Admin user and database name details (3 posts)

Here's the thing... I have installed WordPress on a certain host, but after a few months of use have mistakenly deleted the correlated database. Now I have restored the database (under a name that I guess was the previous name), but I still can't access the installation, since I don't remember the name of my admin user that was registered for this installation.

I was wondering on which file of the installation can I find a reference to the corresponding database and database admin user-name... so that I can completely restore the database and access my WordPress.

    Thank you.

your question is confusing .. so I'll answer both of what it might be:

database details are stored inside wp-config.php which lives in the root of any WordPress install.

the administrator password can be reset several different ways..

    Use my script:
