• When I try to get to my admin URL using http://example.com/wp-admin it redirects me to http://example.com/wp-admin/example.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

If I use http://example.com/wp-login.php, it shows me the login box. I enter my username and password to login and get forwarded to the dashboard, except the url is http://example.com/wp-admin/example.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

If I remove the wp-admin/example.com from the url and refresh, I get to the dashboard. The dashboard will loads, but doesn’t read the css.

I’ve highlighted the duplicate directory within the URL structure.

I have done the following to troubleshoot:
    1. Checked the URL and Home value in the database
    2. Disabled all plugins
    3. Confirmed an htaccess file does not exists
    3. Created a new wordpress instance and pointed to the same database to see if it was something in the wordpress files, but that hasn’t helped either

The site itself, example.com, loads fine.

    Any help is appreciated.
