Updated to iThemes security as many others have done recently, and all went smoothly during the update (thanks for that). However, I noticed that the “hide backend” feature didn’t come over as completely as I would have liked.

Prior to the change to iThemes, there were five options: “Enable Hide Backend”, “Login Slug”, “Register Slug”, “Admin Slug”, and “Generate new secret key”. With the change to iThemes, it is now called “Hide Login Area”, and only has two options: “Hide Backend” and “Login Slug”. The slugs for register and admin have disappeared, and their URLs have reverted back to the default. This is a large change in functionality, and does require changes in documentation for downstream users due to the customized slugs’ no longer working properly.

Would it be possible to request that the register and admin slug options be restored in a future version of the plugin?

I’m having issues with this change too. My login page still directs to /register/ but resolves back to the login page.
Could we either have this functionality restored ASAP or a guide on how to manually fix the slugs. I have had to take my live site down because my users cannot register.

I cannot get the register slug to work on my site either. Please help.

yeah, why can’t we set register slug?
