   I think there should be both top and bottom 'Save Changes' button everywhere within the Admin control panel.

   Seconded.
   The categories are still below the post, despite feedback from many many people to have them back on the right.

   I'm looking for a new blogging platform.
   2.6 was the last chance for WP and nothing I hated in 2.5 changed in 2.6, so...
