   I just noticed on a new 3.13 installation that the Admin Bar only shows "Edit Category" whne viewing a page or post in the browser.

   What is causing this?

   Did you ever figure it out? I'm having the same problem on a site hosted at page.ly using the Backstage theme.

   I'm guessing it's probably a problem w/ the theme or one of the plugins that is installed at Page.ly, though I haven't seen it as a problem w/ any of the other sites I have hosted over there.

   Okay, figured it out (After a hit from this stack overflow page: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6173405/wordpress-edit-category-is-appearing-instead-of-edit-post)

   The problem was the Woo News Category widget inserted in the sidebar. Removing it resolved the problem.
