Admin Pages Exist and Doesnt Exist at the same time

    Just upgraded to 2.6.1 . So far so good, however some bugs seem to occur for me.

    Whenever i write a post and hit the post button, my page goes to an error 404 with the url stating http://xxxx.xxx/wp/wp-admin/post.php as being non-existant. Now when i refresh the page to http://xxxx.xxx , the post which i wrote will be there. This happens for both post and page and link.

    Now the same problem occurs if it was Manage->post/page/link . As soon as hit save, i go to a 404. But when i go to the main permalink the edits are there.

    Last issue i have is that i have a major white space between my main contents and footer but not in the permalink or page.

    Sounds like you’ve not uploaded a file somewhere.

    my mistake…. i did not solve it.

    I thought it was a conflicting plugin or something so deactivated all and started to eliminate one be one.

    However it did not yield proper results.

    All plugin deactivated (or just one activated) i still have the 404 error issue on new/eidt posting. But the big white space is gone.

    When one plugin activated (plugin A) big white space is not there. Now i activate a second plugin (plugin B) big white space is there… logically, I’ll think that plugin B is the cause. Now i deactivate plugin B and thus plugin A is the only one left. BIG white space is still there.

    I deactivate plugin A and white space is gone and activate plugin B. With plugin B active, no white space. Activate plugin A , white space appears…and the process repeats.

    main issue of 404 done. the white space will be solved later
