    Hi, here is my problem.
After moving my wordpress installation from one serve to another admin panel does not work anymore in google chrome. when I try to log in the page just 'refreshes' it self and cant go beyond the login page. it works in firefox thou, but i have to clear all my cookies before it works. that trick with cookies does not work in chrome and since my primary browser is chrome i am in a bad position :P

Already tried reuploading 'fresh' WP files, but with no luck. Any ideas what could had caused that problem?

I think that I had solved my problem which lied in user_activation_key field in the database. Somehow WP generated extra keys for 2 admins accounts which made it impossible to log in in chrome (strange...). after getting rid of it chrome accepts my login again.

    for future reading:

the problem was with www. prefix. I am not sure why, but apache was making problems. after adding www. in the database wp-admin came alive.

now my site is running on nginx without any major issues.

    cheers
