    Hi,

    huge problem here. I’ve had this problem and followed instruction in the FAQ: “Calendar categories are not displaying in the calendar and only the “all” link in the event filter has a background color” This stopped working after the update of the plugin.
    When I activated the plugin again, I got a 404 immediately. I can’t enter my dashboard or other admin pages! The site still works, the back-end has gone. The calendar doesn’t work either.

    I deleted the plugin in my FTP program, but still my dashboard doesn’t work!

    Please help!

    I want to confirm the steps you took:
    1. deactivate the calendar plugin
    2. change the permissions on the CSS folder to 777 via ftp client
    3. reactivate the calendar plugin
    4. WordPress admin stops working
    5. delete calendar plugin via ftp

    Did I miss any steps?

    Yes I’ve done all of that in that order.

    Everything works again. It has been 2 days since I last tried. I didn’t do anything. When I logged in, I reinstalled the Ajax Event Calendar.

    I’m glad this self-resolved, because I didn’t have the slightest notion what could have caused the problem, and I didn’t have any suggestions that could remedy the admin lockout.

    I *think* this was a problem with the host. But I’m not sure though.

    Now the mini-calendar doesn’t work at the frontpage and the background colors for the different categories are still messed up, but I’m scared to try to fix this 🙂

    Hopefully the next release of the plugin will resolve these issues, but other than the recommended course of action I have no alternative suggestions.
