    Hello,

I've been attempting to create a hack that shows when the admin is online/offline on each page of the blog. My first approach was to use the user_status field in wp_users table, but then I found out this is not set when the user logs on. Why wouldn't that be set to 1 after they log in?

Then I was going to use the get_currentuserinfo() function, but what happens when there are more than one user online? Does it just show the user his/her information or will it also show everyone who is logged on and how would we distinguish between the users using that function?

My next approach was to use the existing WP_UsersOnline plugin, but that shows everyone who is online, not just the admin and I don't see where I can distinguish between specific users in that script.

Any help here would be appreciated. :)

Alright, since no one whats to support this thing I guess I'll just hack away at it until I figure something out. Hang in there smallmoskito, it may take me some time but I'll figure it out one way or another. :)
