Admin Menus Won't Stay Open (4 posts)

    Hi there,

First time this ever happened to me: installed the Hebrew version of 2.7.1. Everything works OK except the admin menus won't stay open - I click on Pages, for example, it opens. I click on Plugins - the plugins menu opens but the Pages closes. Only the Posts menu remains open no matter what I do. I tried it on FF and IE - same thing.

Also tried clearing cache and cookies. Nothing.
Tried disabling all plugins - nothing.

I don't want to upgrade at this point.

So - any thoughts or help?

    Update:

Upgrading to 2.8.2 didn't solve the problem.
Installing a fresh WordPress on a new DB didn't solve the problem either...

    Have you tried:

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    - renaming the plugins folder via FTP

Hi esmi, thanks for replying :)

I tried switching to the default theme and disabled all plugins - didn't help.

As I said, I also did a completely new installation with a new and fresh DB on the same server - a clean WP installation with no plugins and no themes - and the problem persisted.
