admin… invalid username

I am very new at all of this stuff but I installed wordpress through Metropolis at godaddy. Everything was working great until I logged off. When I went to log back on using the username:admin and the password that was emaild to me, i got the invalid username message. I have been trying to log back on for the last 30min. I’ve made sure that there are no spaces…double and tripple checked to make sure everything is exactly the same as it is in the email. I even tried requesting my password using admin as the user name and my email and got invalid username/email combination. I tried the username that I origionally logged on with and it sent me a new password that didn’t work.

Now I’m kinda just stuck….what can i do.
