• I just set up a second blog on my host. It installed fine and I was able to log in, however, I do not have permission to do anything. I can write posts, but I cannot add categories. I cannot add new users and I cannot delete posts or comments. The only user right now is myself, under admin. Any advice?

  • I posted about this problem 2 months ago and never got helpful information. The only thing posted was… “turn JavaScript off in your web browser. By turning JavaScript off, you will be able to bypass the Ajax functionality in WordPress, which is obviously the failing point.”

Obviously this was useless as I STILL can not use my own blog properly! Hopefully it is useful for you though!! :\

Actually missing admin permissions has been discussed many times over in the past. It’s always a good idea to search the forums for a specific error and, if you don’t find what you need, to copy and and paste the specific error that you are receiving.

a quick google search shows this thread with a possible solution. Without knowing the specific error you’re getting thoough, you may want to look over thos hits to see if you see something simular to what you;re receiving.

Thanks for the help. Oddly enough, my problem fixed itself magically as I ignored it. As always, ignorance is the best answer.

    thanks!
