• Hi

I have just installed a WordPress blog on my site. To make security insane I changed the default wp-admin, wp-content and wp-includes directories to specialist names created using random codes created as grc passwords. I then ran a command on my Suse system to scan the wordpress folders/files (and all folders inside) for each of those folders names and replace it with the new ones I created.

The install went great and the blog is up and running and I can post, change themes etc etc. However the admin dashboard is glitchy. It looks like this:-

I’ve tried installing admin dashboard themes and they don’t seem to take. Anyone have any ideas? I’m not willing to change back to the default folder names due to 0 day security issues, and I know these changes arn’t supported but if there is a solution I’ll gladly hear it, if not I’ll just live with it.

    James
