    Hi,
    I developed a site on wamp in localhost and just uploaded the theme to my host for the live site.
    All works fine, the front end and admin panels are accessible without any problem and they load from the correct urls. ie http://www.mysite.com and http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin
    The problem is simply that the admin bar displays the url and user name I used in wamp.

    How can I change it?
    Ive been into config.php and phpmyadmin to check out the database and there is nothing I have found so for to cause this.

    Thanks
    Andy

    Dumb question, but have you cleared your cache?

    When I inspect the element using chromes web dev tool it says

    <a class="ab-item" tabindex="10" aria-haspopup="true"
    href="http://localhost/Wordpress/wordpress2/wp-admin/">Dev Site 2

    How to edit this is the question! But this only happens when viewing the site. In the admin panel it displays correctly.

    And likewise, the user name on the right has this on inspection

    <a href="http://localhost/Wordpress/wordpress2/wp-admin/profile.php" title="My Account">Howdy, andy</a>

    I found the answer. All the links going to my localhost were in the footer.php

    Can't remember how they got there, possibly when getting rid of an encrypted footer I guess.
