[resolved] Admin bar isn't doesn't stick to the top on small screens (3 posts)

On small screens (max-width: 600px) the admin bar doesn't stick to the top of the page, this is because at this breakpoint the admin bar switches from position: fixed to position: absolute and since the theme uses position: relative for the body the bar positions itself at the top of the body element not the html.

I'm not sure why position relative is used on the body but I removed it on my installation and it works fine so far.

Thanks for reporting this! And thanks tons for including a screenshot. :)

I reported the problem with the gap above the toolbar to the Writer theme author. It should get fixed in the next version release of the theme.

Howdy! Thanks much for reporting this. It should be fixed in the next version; for now, you can download that here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/writr/
