    I'd like to increase the size of header from what the default offers. On the default perforated rectangle, there are nodes at the corners and in the middle of each side. What I'd like to do is raise the height of the header size? Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

    Thanks, Alchymyth. I am using the Twenty Eleven theme. Found this video at YouTube, which offers a code to change the height. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dOjSm6BN7w&feature=player_embedded. I am know nothing about code.

    the header image dimensions are set in functions.php of the theme; to change them, create a child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and add new functions.php http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#Using_functions.php ;
