Address Correction

    Our wordpress site lives in a directory called /gallery/.

    We have this domain pointed to it, and it initially opens correctly:

    http://starr-interiors.com/

    But as soon as any navigation is clicked, although one IS sent to the correct page, the address bar now reads:

    http://lineofthespirit.com/gallery …

    I’m pretty sure I need to change the General Settings address(es), but I’m not sure which, and how, and what else I need to do.

    Help me not screw it up. Thanks.

    Have a look at Changing_The_Site_URL.

    I did look at this, but it’s kind of daunting, and seems to cover more than I need to do…

    – can’t I just change the site address?

    Not unless you want the site to turn into an unholy unstyled mess with no access to the Admin area. Seriously, this is the only way to make the change and it’s not that hard if you take it slowly, one step at a time.

    OK – one step at a time…

    But not truly resolved until it’s changed.
