    Hi JAkzam,

Firstly this addon potentially looks to be just what i need, I’m using NGG V2.0.33 and trying to get NextGEN Gallery Media Library Addon working.

I don’t see the screenshots you show for adding the files to my galleries from the media library, all i see is the upload from computer screen, i’m presuming this could be something to do with the installed position of NGG’s gallery folder? i’ve tried uploading the addon zip file and also searching through WP’s plugin install process to see if the addon would install in a different position, both install into the same place.

My site is a WooTheme using Woo Commerce

My wp-content folder on the server backend shows
    -gallery
    – lg gallery
    -plugins
    -themes
    – upgrade
    -uploads
    -wppa depot

    ——————————–

inside my plugins folder i see amongst my other plugins:-
    -nextgen-gallery
    -nextgen-gallery-media-library-addon

Are there any known conflicts my active plugins are:-
    Contact Form With Captcha
    Floating Social Bar
    Google Analytics for WordPress
    Hide Title
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    Meta Slider
    Options Framework
    Skype Master
    Smooth Page to Top
    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce WIdget Product Slideshow LITE
    WooDojo
    Wordpress SEO

    Thank you for your help.

I doubt we will be supporting any future features for this addon.

Unfortunately, we learned a hard lesson in dealing with a parent plugin that isn’t ours. NextGen Gallery really messed up during their release of NGG 2.0. And even though the Legacy version is still available, it will likely stop working very soon, as the NGG developers are no longer supporting it.

We are only allowing our Addon to remain in the directory for those 5000+ users that have found it useful. My guess is that the legacy version will soon cease to operate for those of us that regularly update WP.

It is just not in our best interest to continue spending time on an addon that will likely no longer work, for a 3rd Party Parent plugin that really takes no interest in their extension developers.

If we decide to develop a similar plugin, it will be one that is NOT reliant on any other plugins to operate, and only relies on the functionality of the WP Media Library for added features.
