   For the plugins that I have, i would like to add a button to the quicktags toolbar.

   How do I do this without editting quicktags.js ?
   Also is there a way to edit an existing button with a plugin?

   That requires manual editting of the file.

   I would like to know if there is a way to do this using a plugin.

   I'm asking this because I would like to add a button using my plugin.

   the contactform Plugin uses quicktags and in the files of this plugin you can see "how".
