Did I dream this... I'm sure I saw a few weeks back a post that said that all you need to add the wysiwyg to a custom field is to add a classname to that textarea.

Now everywhere I search refer me to plugins or complicated approaches.

Can this be triggers by a classname?

    I found this: post

My problem is now Send to editor from the post will send to my custom field and not the post :(

Does anyone know an easy way to add the wysiwyg to custom field. Or a fix to the above issue?

Please. I'm going to pull the sad card here but no matter how many times I try to help in the forum I never get help :(

    Anybody?

Anyone knows why when I insert images in the main post it ends up being added to my custom field instead?

    I'm begging for help here:

I added the class "The_editor" to my custom field and it worked.

Except for the fact that adding media will always add it to my last Editor field on the page.

Anyone know why or how I can change this?

    Please.

Just wanted to say thank you for coming back and posting the answer. I have been searching through tons of results trying to find this simple answer. I just needed a custom field with the WYSIWYG options found in the default 'editor' field.
