   I have an textarea field in admin page of a plugin. Is there a way to add the same visual editor used to post articles on that admin page?

   Oh gosh I hope someone knows the answer to your question. This has been killing me. You can add a RTE to a textarea in your plugin, but I've never figured out how to get the system to actually save that data.
