   I have been working with web sites for some years, but never have introduced video except through links to other sites. I am the web master for our Church and am using the theme below, check it out:

   I am working on the Freedom page and have purchased three videos from Imagevine that I want to project from this page. What is the best method for being able to play videos directly from my WordPress.org site?

   I would also like to know how to condense Our Programs on the sidebar, so that only the main pages are visible with dropdowns for children pages. What is the most efficient way to do this?

   To some extent that depends on what format the videos are in - dvd, windows media, flash, quicktime?

   condense Our Programs on the sidebar

   Give a try to this plugin
   http://www.webspaceworks.com/resources/wordpress/30/
   Make sure you follow the instructions as you have to edit the sidebar php file, changing the function called for the page list. Make a backup copy of the file before you change it in case you decide to revert.

   The plugin works fine in WP 2.8.4

   here is a clean, valid code for many video formats. in fact, no matter what video code i copy to embed i drop it in the format below...
