Adding thumbnail to RSS widget (5 posts)

    Hi

I'm displaying the following feed on the sidebar of the homepage:
    http://www.purplecircle.co.uk/blog/?feed=rss2

See top right at the main site here:
    http://www.purplecircle.co.uk

This is the main site for our agency, not a blog. The blog is located at http://www.purplecircle.co.uk/blog.

Currently using the standard WP RSS widget. I'd like to include a thumbnail in the RSS feed (after title, before content if possible), but can't seem to find a way to do this. I've tried all the 'better rss' or 'image rss' pulgins but the closest I got was displaying thumbs from the main site, not the blog site.

    Any ideas?

Hi. I've had very good success with this solution: http://blog.wardelldesign.com/word-press/add-images-wordpress-feed/

The problem is that if the first image is huge, the rss feed becomes huge, so I'm planning to customize the solution by looking around for some thumbnail-generating plugin and use the image from that in the feed.
