   Hi, I wanted to add an invisible stat counter to my wordpress blog but i can't figure out where to put the code. i am using the code generated by statcounter.com

   the code is here below:

   Footer.php of yout theme?

   I placed the statcounter javascript code in footer.php of a WP blog but the stat counter image did not appear (appears fine on html sites that are not WP blogs).

   I could not follow the instructions at
   http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Javascript

   Please advise
