Adding seperation borders & adjusting with to twenty ten

    I am VERY new to this, so ‘dumb it down’ for me, please….

    I want to try to separate some things. My sidebar just runs right in with my post- there is nothing (like a border) to separate. And- on the sidebar, it all just runs together again.

    Also- can I make it wider (my sidebar items aren’t fitting)?

    It looks like you are using twentytwelve theme (not twentyten)? Those kinds of changes can be done in the CSS code — but before making any changes to any theme, you should create a child theme or install a custom CSS plugin such as jetpack. That way your changes won’t be erased when WP or the theme is updated.
