  • Hello Boys and Girls,

i have a request which is more of a kind of how to do something in general.

I am using the Freshy2 theme, which i was able to fiddle into my needs, remove the left sidebar and reduced width as i wanted. That was all easy because i just had to erase some code or change a number in an css.

Now i want to add something, which is way more complicated as you need to know what you are doing 🙂

I tried to add some div tags and try to copy something in code above and just replace it with the content i want to have in it.
But i always had the problem that it was out of the css it seems as it was verry much in the left and right of the corner when it was aligned for example.

This is what it looks like: Droid Boy and this is what i want to achieve: Additional Footer.

Simple copying for example the header and adding some css code in the css file to replace the background image looked like a bomb exploded in the layout 🙂

So i am asking you to give me some tips which way i shoulsd go to achieve that and what do i need to learn, to do, take care off to create this additi0onal footer.

I probably extend the footer.html of the freshy theme for that, so i dont have to change it at pages.

Thanks in advance for all responses and tips!

    Mog

PS I want to add i have no problem inserting widgets, java scirpt mods, iframes and such. Its more how to make it all fit into the existing template without falling apart.
