Adding Post Author Info Not Working w/Theme

    I’ve seen many posts on how to do this, but I can’t get it to work on this site. I’ve contacted the theme’s developer, and he said it’s not an option with this theme, but surely there’s atill a way to code the file to get it to show up? I’ve tried adding code I’ve seen in other posts on this topic to no avail, so I’m sure I’m missing something – I’m not a php expert. I will have more than one blog author, so showing that info is important for this site. Any help would so greatly appreciated – not only with the code to add, but where to add it (which file and where in that file).

    I’m sorry but we do not support commercial themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business or deprive them of any income that they may derive from support services. Ideally, the theme’s developer should explain how you can amend the theme template files to add this details – although do not expect step-by-step instructions. That could well be beyond the remit of “reasonable support”.

    In the meantime, all I can suggest is that you review the_author and look at how the Twenty Eleven & Twenty Ten themes use the function.

    I wasn’t asking for theme support. I have seen multiple posts on this forum about adding php to show the post author information, and just thought I could get a little help with that. 🙁 I’ll just read more ad see if I can figure it out. Wouldn’t this be a function of editing wordpress files – where else would I get support/help for wordpress….then here? I’m a little confused.
