• Hola! I want to be able to type a description of my photo (entry) in the comments pop-up. I guess first you should see http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/ and click on the comments link in the upper left. See how he has a description, then people post their comments below it….anyway, he sent me the template he uses and I uploaded it to http://ryanflynnphoto.com/blog/comment_listing.php just so ya’ll could see what he sent me to try to play with.
Also in his email he said “Basically, in MT, you have three fields you can use for an entry, the Entry Body, the Extended Entry, and the Excerpt. On my set up I use the Entry Body for the main image, the Extended entry for the 200x150px small image and the descriptive text, and the Excerpt for the 75x75px thumbnails. In other words, I’ve embedded the Extended Entry into the comment popup.”
Is there any way I can do this on my site http://ryanflynnphoto.com/blog ????
    Thanks

    Anyone?

If you are using the Extended Entry in your comment popup, then why not just put your comments there?

With 1.2 you should be able to pull this off, since it has 2 fields (Excerpt and Entry Body) plus you can have custom fields, as many as you want. So the process of setting this up will be bretty much the same as with MT. I am not sure how one would go about setting up a template where it would show excerpts in a certain location (a thumbnail index at the bottom of sorts), but download an MT template that uses the above approach i.e. HINAGATA, which is the best MT photoblog template IMHO … then try substituting MT tags with WP tags and see what happens.
