I really dont know much about widgets, and i havent been able to get any help from the widget author, so i decided to ask here...
does anyone know how to edit a widget so that you can add more than one instance of it to the sidebar? im sure it depends on the widget, i dont know if its possible, but this is the widget i need help with

i would like to be able to add 3 or more to my sidebars. any help is greatly appreciated.
It entirely depends on the widget code itself. You'll have to talk to the author of the widget, or learn a lot of PHP.
yeah, i tried contacting the author of the widget and got no response.

I have some widgets that can be used in multiple instances and even though there is a dropdown on the bottom of the widgets page in wp-admin, where you can specify the number of instances you want to use, there is no indication on how to configure each of them. I drag one instance into my sidebar but the others aren't available in the unused widgets pool.
Shouldn't this be how it should work? How then?
From the author's comments:
You can have more than one widget. what you need to is rename the plugin name and the php file name. and it will work. regards daya
Have you tried this?
