Adding multiple authors

    Hi, I’m totally new to WordPress. Not finding up to date answers to my query so I thought I would ask you guys for help:

    For a course that I am taking at university I am part of a group with 11 people (including myself) who need to make weekly blog posts on a particular subject. I’ve been tasked with creating the blog and now I need to make it so that everyone else in the group has access. Can anybody guide me through how I would go about adding the other 10 people from my group so that they can start topics on the blog that I created and respond to each other? Right now I am looking under “invite new users to your blog” but I’m not sure if that is what I am looking for. I guess that I don’t need them to necessarily be administrators, although if I can do that, it would be fantastic. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    So let’s try to make it fantastic for you:
    Access the dashboard go to Users and access “Add New” (under Users of course) you have to set up the username E-mail address the password and the Role of the user. To make it administrator select the option from the “Role” dropdown … hit save and you’re done.

    Hi, thanks so much for the help! It looks a little bit different from what you described, for instance under “Users” it says “Invite New” rather than “Add New” and there was no prompt for adding passwords, but it still looks totally kosher on my end, all the email invites went out and it looks like the individuals just need to “accept.”
