Adding MailChimp opt in to WP-Member registration page? (3 posts)

    Hey All,

Thanks for any help in advance.

I have installed WP-Member plugin to assist with setting up a members area for a clients website. Everything works great so far.

The client has requested that I add a checkbox to the registration form for opt-in to his mail chimp newsletter list. Now if this was all static HTML I could do this and I have found a plugin to add this to the standard wordpress registration page but I can't add it onto the WP-Members generation registration page.

How can I go about adding this opt in to the WP-Members registration form? The page is here: http://www.cheshirefitcamps.co.uk/register

It is all dynamic in that I can add and delete fields in the admin panel and the PHP runs it all back end (obviously). My PHP knowledge is somewhat lacking as I am more of a designer than coder so wouldn't really know where to start?!

Anybody any experience with this or any geniuses out there that might be able to suggest anything?

    Many Thanks again,
    Tom

You can add a field in the WP-Members settings, presumably a checkbox.

The plugin does have a user export feature, so you can export users to a CSV.

Thanks for the tip, but I am liking for a solution that would make it all automatic so that my client doesn't have to do anything for the list at all.

Any other ideas? I will bare your advice in mind as a back up.
